About Wasdary
What it is
Wasdary is a catalogue of just over 360,000 video games with, where we have them, the current store prices next to each one. You can search it, filter it by more or less anything, see what is on sale, and look at a Top 250 built from what people here actually voted rather than from review-score averages.
If you make an account you also get a library: mark what you have played, give it a score, write a review, record how long it took you, keep a wishlist. Your profile page adds it up — what you play most, which genres you rate highest, your best three games.
That is the whole thing. There is no feed, no social layer, no notifications trying to get you back.
Why it exists
I wanted one page that told me what a game was, whether it was any good, and what it cost right now — without three tabs open and without a page mostly made of ads. The sites that do the catalogue part well usually do not do prices, and the sites that do prices well are usually built to make you click a link somebody gets paid for.
So I built the one I wanted. Then it turned out to be genuinely useful for keeping track of what I had played and what I thought of it, and it grew from there.
Who makes it
One person. There is no team, no company, no investor. I write the code, run the server, import the data, and read the mail that arrives at support@wasdary.com.
Worth setting expectations honestly: a wrong price or a missing game gets fixed when I see it, and I am one person. Telling me about it is the fastest way for it to get fixed.
It earns nothing
This is the part worth being explicit about, because on a site that shows prices you have every reason to ask.
No advertising. No affiliate links. No sponsorships. No paid placement. When you follow a price to a store, I earn nothing — the link is the plain product page, with the tracking parameters stripped off. Nothing here is ranked higher, shown first or hidden because of money, because there is no money involved to distort it. There is no cookie banner for the same reason: there is nothing to consent to.
This is a deliberate choice rather than a phase before monetising. Everything about how the site is built assumes it stays that way.
If you want to chip in towards the server you can, on the support page (there is nothing set up to receive it yet) — but it buys you nothing. No badge, no extra features, no early access. The site is identical whether you donate or not, and I would rather you used it and told someone about it.
Where the data comes from
Game information comes from IGDB. Prices are refreshed daily. Scores and reviews are written by the people using the site.
Prices can be out of date, and plenty of games have no price at all — the terms explain the limits of that data properly. Always check the price on the store before you buy.
Console games, and why they have no price
A game released on PS5 or PS4 gets a PlayStation entry alongside the PC prices. It says which consoles the game came out on and links to the official PlayStation Store — and it deliberately shows no price.
That is not an oversight. Sony publishes no price feed, and their terms of use do not permit reading prices off the store automatically. Rather than show you a number I cannot get honestly, or one that would be stale by the time you read it, the link takes you to the store itself — in your own country's storefront, since the price differs everywhere.

Names and trademarks
"Xbox", "Game Pass" and "Microsoft Store" are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. This site is independent: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Microsoft, and it uses those names only to tell you where a game is sold or which subscription it is included in.
The same goes for every other shop and platform named on the site. Store and publisher names are used to identify what they are — the shop a price came from, the console a game runs on — and never to suggest that any of them is involved with Wasdary.
The reverse holds too: "Wasdary", the shield emblem and the logo are ours, made for this site alone, and they are not free to reuse — see section 9 of the Terms. If you want to use them for something, just ask: support@wasdary.com.
